A Night of MMA Action

A defeated Hamid Akira Corassani is helped up by a teammate following his loss in the main event at The Zone FC 8: Inferno in Gothenburg, Sweden

I recently covered The ZoneFC 8: Inferno for UK mixed-martial arts site YourMMA.tv.  Although I wasn't planning on shooting, I did snap a few of the action with a 35mm lens I had on my camera that evening.  It was an exciting night of action in Gothenburg, Sweden.  After the jump, you will find a selection from the action, and you can also read my event report over at YourMMA.tv.

Paul Ross (UK) attempts a rear naked choke on Hamid Akira Corassani (Sweden)

German fighter Gregor Herb (white shorts) maneuvers for a submission attempt on Sweden's Mats Nilsson (red shorts)

Gregor Herb makes a last second armbar attempt on Mats Nilsson (red shorts) in the closing seconds of the match.

Excellent stuff Dustin! Good to see someone getting in nice an close on some Euro MMA! I hope you can land some work through this too!

It was a great event. I hope I have a chance to cover some more while I'm here, I only shot the last round of each of the 3 last fights, so I'm sure I could have grabbed some other great pics. Next time...
