Underworld Live Redux

Group of strangers. Dingy club. Pouring rain outside. Hundreds brought together for an evening to share an experience.
Nearly 2 months ago in Berlin, I finally saw a band that I had waited 15 years to see. This week I had a chance to see Underworld again, and spent the better part of a day traveling over 1000km by bus, train, plane (even walking) to make it happen.
It was so very worth it, and they closed with Moaner which was the highlight for sure.

I've seen them in a festival setting, but was privileged to see them at the Hollywood Bowl, an open-air amphitheater in Los Angeles, and it was an absolutely amazing show.
The only electronic group I've seen better in concert was Daft Punk, though 2 Many DJs is amazing live as well.

This show was so much better than the Berlin event. All Underworld fans, no posers there just because it was cool. Average age was quite a bit higher too as it turned out.
I had wanted to see Daft Punk live for years, but I haven't liked much of what they've done since Homework. Still would check them out though if I had the chance!
