Hi,

I run the website www.eatwithalocal.com it connects travellers with local people willing to cook for them in their homes all over the world. It is free to join and free to use. If a host can not cook they can choose to take the visitor out for a meal to their favourite restaurant. It is a great way of getting to know the culture of a country meeting and eating with the locals. If you could check out the site and give me some feedback I would be grateful.

We have never met, but I'm in need of some travel advice. I am headed to several countries, but am having trouble getting organized and running short on research time. I could use some help with planning in Vietnam. I need help in creating an itinerary and am reaching out to a bunch of fellow travelers to kind of get a feel for what eveyone has seen and done and what they recommend. I will be starting in Saigon and want to end in Hanoi. I have an opportunity to have a flight from Saigon to Hanoi linked into all of my tickets that I'm organizing. I want to see more than the big cities though and am interested in things also having to do with history from the Vietnam war. I will be traveling alone for the most part. I would also be interested in the name of some guides or companies that you may have used. I wouldn't mind doing some of it as a bike tour, I am not interested in anything too hard core as I will be coming from trekking to the Everst Base Camp! Thanks in advance for your assistance.

All is good, tall drink has taken care of us mind you things have been fairly stable in that department though. Stay cool...and live like you have never lived before !!! I am old and washed up so I am envious.

I have been following you from the beginning and your journey this far is absolutely amazing , I look forward to your updates and your spectactular photos (which I will be asking for upon your return) . I check daily to see where you are today and can't help think what a brave young man you are, but am happy to travel along side with you (through internet, of course) . I also had a good laugh watching you roll down the hill in a huge plastic ball, brightened my day. Looking forward to many more pictures and some good reading. Take care and be safe. Looks like the trip is going amazingly! We at the office are always trying to keep up with you on your adventures, perusing through your pictures is one of our favourite passtimes! Mavis wanted you to know that she wants to go to Antartica, and wants some tips when you get back! We received your post card today and it made all of us smile! Don't worry, we will take care of Trevor while you are gone!
